PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the erroneous sorting of photosensitive materials with high probability while realizing the improvement in a processable number. SOLUTION: When a sorting sensor disposed near a guide for sorting photographic paper to a discharge port side for normal prints and a discharge port side for abnormal prints detects a photographic paper (S1: YES), the photographic paper is judged to be the abnormal prints and the guide is driven to discharge the photographic paper from the discharge port for the abnormal prints only when the arrival time of the photographic paper at the sorting sensor is within a permissible time range (S2: YES) and when the prescribed number of sheets are already discharged from the discharge port till then (S3: YES).
