SUBSTANCE: characteristic feature of process lies in fact that barrel of tank gun is mounted in horizontal position, nuts are screwed off from rods of counterrecoil mechanism and recoil and clearance between barrel and rear support of cradle is measured. In addition clearance of front support is checked by measurement of maximum angular play of barrel. For this breech end of barrel is lowered and muzzle part is loaded upwards. Clearance is checked by measurement of maximum angular clearance on rear support with reference to cradle in vertical plane. With this in mind breech end of barrel is raised and muzzle part is loaded downwards. EFFECT: reduced labor input in process of test of clearances by mounting seats of barrel in cradle during operation of tank gun. 3 dwg
