PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathtub for wheelchair in which the wall of the bathtub can be partially fallen and opened so that the fallen rising and falling bathtub wall can be substituted for a slope when a level difference is present between the inner bottom surface of the bathtub and a floor surface outside the bathtub, the rising and falling wall can be moved by a drive unit to reduce the load on a helper, and the rising and falling wall is prevented from falling by hydraulic pressure. SOLUTION: The wall 2 of the bathtub is partially opened, and the rising and falling wall 3 is mounted on the opening part 4 in such a manner as to be capable of rising and falling. This bathtub comprises an opening and closing drive unit 5 for raising and lowering the rising and falling wall 3 and a rising and falling wall fixing device 6 for fixing the rising and falling wall 3 raised to close the opening part 4 to the opening part 4.
