PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll forming apparatus which enables supplying a rectangular column for building by roll forming of a long metallic plate. SOLUTION: A tubular body A formed from the long metallic plate in the former process is transferred to a space between an upper roller 1 and a lower roller 2 and also a caulking roller 4 and a mandrel 3 placed by feeding rollers 51, 51 in the vicinity of the caulking roller 4 are introduced to the tubular body A and by caulking a polymerized portion A3 at both the edges of the long metallic plate which constitutes the tubular body A with both the caulking roller 4 and the lower roller 2 and concurrently the tube body is transferred by both the feeding rollers 51, 51 and the upper roller 1.
