PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive for persons to securely evacuate from a protection division when fire detecting sensors detect and actual fire in an automatic fire extinguishing appliance provided with a plurality of the fire detecting sensors. SOLUTION: This automatic fire extinguishing appliance is provided with a plurality of the fire detecting sensors. When one fire detecting sensor detects a fire (S1), counting of time starts (S2). Even when one of other fire detecting sensors detects the fire (S7), if it occurs in timing operation of timing means, the end of a time cycle of the timing means is awaited. After the end of the time cycle, a closing device is closed, then a fire extinguisher is released and the protection division is filled with the same (S10). The appliance prevents wrong detection of fire by determining the occurrence of the actual fire on occasions when two detecting sensors detect the fire. Until the end of the time cycle, closing of the closing device and releasing of the fire extinguisher are awaited, allowing the persons inside the protection division to safely evacuate out of the division.
