PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forging apparatus with which a comparatively long-sized product whose total length is regulated is formed without transforming the inside diameter of a hollow material at the time of executing a process of press forging. SOLUTION: When one sets a raw material 1 in the apparatus and presses the raw material 1 inside a die 2 of the lower die 4 by descending a punch 5 of the upper die 6, and forms by adjusting the total length with the punch 5 and a counter punch 3, the first mandrel 7 is pierced from the upper end side into a hollow section 1a of the raw material 1 and concurrently by piercing the second mandrel 9 from the lower end side, the total length and configuration are adjusted to form without transforming the hollow section 1a of the raw material 1. In such a way, the whole length, configuration, and internal diameter of the long-sized hollow products are finished in a single operation that enables production efficiency to grow and results in lowering production costs.
