PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid medium circulation device in a fluidized bed type incinerator which is sanitary and safe and, in which the amount of incombustibles such as wire caught on a round-bar screen of a fluid medium takeout duct can be reduced whereby the frequency of a maintenance work to remove the incombustibles can be reduced and a continuous operation can be ensured. SOLUTION: A fluid medium outlet port 3 is provided on an inclined lower wall 2a at the midpoint of a fluid medium takeout duct 2 connected to a fluid medium outlet port at the top of a fluid medium circulation elevator 1 so as to be outwardly downwardly inclined. A fluid medium falling branch duct 4 is connected to the outlet port 3, and a round-bar screen 12 for catching incombustibles such as wire is provided in the port 3 so as to be inclined to the same angle as the lower wall 2a of the duct 2 and spaced apart therefrom at a predetermined interval. A duct 6 for storing incombustibles such as wire or the like is connected to the duct 2, while an open/closure damper 8 is provided at the bottom of the duct 6.
