PURPOSE:To provide an optical recording and reproducing device in a multi- beam system having a mechanism adjusting intervals among plural spots formed on a recording medium with simple constitution and with good responsiveness. CONSTITUTION:In an optical information recording and reproducing device image-forming the luminous flux outgoing from a semiconductor laser 1 generating plural pieces of luminous flux as plural spots on an optical tape 11 by an objective lens 10, a lens 5 varying an image formation magnification by moving it in the direction of an optical axis is provided between the semiconductor laser 1 and the objective lens 10. Then, the lens 5 is made movable so that the magnification is varied within a range containing -1 times. |
