PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily remove contaminants increased in the depositing amount to a filtering medium by the repetition of a filtration process and a back washing process. SOLUTION: Alcoholic solution is continuously fed from an alcoholic solution tank 2 into a filter tower 1, and a filtering medium (e.g. a continuous fiber bundle 24) is brought into contact with the alcoholic solution to be washed. The contaminants removed from the filtering medium, together with the alcoholic solution, is discharged outside the filter tower 1. As the alcoholic solution, an aqueous solution of methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, or the like is used. When washed with the alcoholic solution, air can be blown into the filter tower 1 to carry out bubbling. |
