PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing machine and a lithographic printing method wherein a lithographic printing machine and a plate-making method by which an image-forming and a plate-making can be directly performed on the printing machine are used, discriminating property between an image section and a non-image section is sufficiently kept, and a printed matter without being soiled even under a severe printing condition can be obtained. SOLUTION: This lithographic printing machine is equipped with a plate cylinder 4 for image-forming, a blanket cylinder 3, an impression cylinder 2, a coating film-applying unit 12 provided to be proximal to the plate cylinder 4 for image-forming, a coating film-curing unit 13, an image-forming unit 14 and a cleaning unit 7. Then, an image-forming layer containing a polymer having a functional group which is cross-linked by light or heat prior to the image-forming, and a functional group which changes from hydrophilic to hydrophobic by heat generated by the radiation of infrared rays is formed by the coating film-applying unit 12 for this lithographic printing method. |
