PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewage purification tank capable of stably performing sewage treatment even when a large amount of sewage water flows into the purification tank in a short time. SOLUTION: This purfication tank is provided with an inflow port for sewage water to flow into the tank, a plurality of sections formed inside the tank by dividing its internal space with partition plates and a transfer port which is formed in each of the partition plates and used for transferring the sewage water and at least one of such transfer ports has an opening area smaller than opening area of the inflow port.
