PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily assemblable farm working machine capable of properly preventing the adhesion of soil on the opposite face of a cover side plate. SOLUTION: The body 1 of the machine is provided with a chain case 3 and a bracket 4 separately positioned opposite to each other interposing a rotary tilling work member 5. A pair of right and left side cover plates 16 each having an engaging recess 18 protruded on the opposite face are fixed to the chain case 3 and the bracket 4. The 2nd stainless steel side plate 36 is attached to each opposite face of the right and left cover side plates 16 along the opposite face by inserting and engaging the prescribed edge of the 2nd stainless steel side plate 36 into the engaging recess 18. The face of the 2nd stainless steel side plate 36 opposite to the rotary tilling work member 5 is formed to a smooth face to prevent the adhesion of soil.
