<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for renewal of a main vertical drainage pipe wherein in a multistoried building e.g. a multistoried apartment house, exclusive branch pipes are connected with each other on every floor and the interior of an existing main vertical drainage pipe for collecting water from the exclusive branch pies to discharge it can be properly polished and coated with paints in a short period of time, without closing the discharge ports of the branch pipes on each floor. SOLUTION: In the method for renewing an existing main vertical drainage pipe wherein in a building of two or more stories, exclusive branch pipes are connected with each other on every floor, and water from the branch pipes is collected and discharged, polishing materials are mixed into compressed air so as to be blown off, in a fan-like form, from the forward end of a spray nozzle apparatus 13 disposed in the main vertical drainage pipe 10, and at the same time, the air within the main pipe 10 is drawn out from the lower end thereof, followed by moving the apparatus 13 at a certain speed. Thereby, matters attached to the inner wall of the pipe 10 are removed and the inner wall is polished, and then paints are applied to the polished inner wall of the pipe 10, thus effecting renewal of the main pipe.</p> |
