PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a replenishing system for consumables where a device, for example, a printer where the consumable is utilized, is made usable only in the case that a genuine consumable is replenished again. SOLUTION: The system is constituted of a device main body 20 and a consumables storing container 30 provided with a storing means 31 where the consumables are stored and ID code data are stored, and a consumables residual quantity detecting means 32 detecting the residual quantity of the consumables. The system can be operated when the ID code of the storing means is a prescribed data and existence of the residual quantity is detected by the consumables residue quantity detecting means and when no residual quantity is detected by the consumables residual quantity detecting means, the ID code data of the storing means are erased. |
