PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute an operation cap for sliding type lighter of a plurality of members so that the cap may be fixed easily and surely. SOLUTION: This operation cap 20 is rotatably supported on the main body of the sliding type lighter by inserting fulcrum sections 22a and 22a into the main body in a state where fulcrum levers 22 and 22 are bent and locking the sections 22a at prescribed supporting positions by releasing the levers 22 from the bent states and hanging the cap 20 on, for example, the upper lid of the main body and operated by sliding. The main body 20a of the cap 20 is formed of a heat-resistant metallic material and the lever members 21 of the cap 20 are formed of a flexible material, such as a soft synthetic resin, etc., and integrally fixed to the main body 20a in a hooking or fitting type fixing structure.
