PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress drop of suction efficiency, suppress drop of the surface of lubricating oil within a compressor, prevent drop of compression efficiency, and enhance reliability. SOLUTION: This rotary compressor 10 is equipped with a motor element and a rotating compression element 18 driven with a driving shaft connected to the motor element, arranged on the inside of a closed container 12, a coolant introduction pipe 90 for introducing a coolant to the suction side of the rotating compression element 18 and a coolant discharge pipe for discharging a compressed coolant from the discharge side of the rotating compression element 18 are connected to a cylinder 38 of the rotating compression element 18, and the coolant introduction pipe 90 has a connection pipe 90a connected to the cylinder 38 within the closed container 12 and a supply pipe 90b arranged so as to have the specified gas to the connection pipe 90a within the closed container 12 and supplying the coolant to the connection pipe 90a.
