PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and surely replace and attach expansion-contraction devices to girders even when openings formed among the girders for a bridge exceed an adjustable limit and are expanded and contracted or even when stepped sections exceeding a height adjustable limit are formed among the girders. SOLUTION: End-section mounting spaces 10 for the expansion-contraction device are formed onto the girders 2, and the end sections of the expansion- contraction device are installed detachably by bolts 14 and the places of the mounting of the end sections movably in the direction orthogonal to the girder width directions on bases 11 built on the bottom sections of the end-section mounting spaces 10.
