PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a draining device of an elevating type cabinet which eliminates the possibility of a leak of smell from a part connected with a building-side drainpipe and can improve accommodation in the cabinet and the external appearance thereof. SOLUTION: The upper end of a straight drainpipe 9 is opened on the upper side of the base board 1b of the cabinet 1, while the lower end thereof is inserted into the building-side drainpipe 8, and the drainpipe 9 is fixed to the base board 1b of the cabinet. An expansion pipe 15 made extensible and contractible vertically is so fitted as to cover the portion of the straight drainpipe 9 between the lower side of the base board 1b and the building-side drainpipe 8, and the lower end part of a drainpipe 6 connected to the drain port of a sink 3 is connected to the straight drainpipe 9 opened on the upper side of the base board. With the rise and fall of the cabinet 1, in this constitution, the expansion pipe 15 extends and contracts vertically, while the straight drainpipe 9 can move up and down in the expansion pipe 15.
