PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone that can start charging control of a battery, even with the power being off to a charging controller when a power switch is turned off. SOLUTION: The mobile phone is provided with a control section internal circuit 15 having a switch means 7, that turns off supply of a battery power supply in interlocking manner with a power switch to control a charging operation of a CPU control charging circuit 16, a battery connection detection one- shot pulse generating circuit 111 that generates a one-shot pulse when the battery is mounted on the mobile phone, and an external power supply connection detection one-shot pulse generating circuit 110 that generated a one-shot pulse when an external power supply is connected to the mobile phone. The one-shot pulse generated, when the switching means interlocking with turning off the power switch is turned off, the battery is mounted on the mobile phone and the external power supply is connected to the mobile phone, activates charging of the battery by the control section internal circuit, so that the consumption of a battery power is attained. |
