PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of speedily and safely performing settlement on the Internet. SOLUTION: Concerning this method, settlement is performed while utilizing a system for charging information rates to call time and collecting the rates by connecting one line to a line capable of settlement except for the Internet in a computer having plural connectable lines such as ISDN in the case of settlement on the Internet. Besides, enciphered settlement information is acquired by connecting one line to the computer terminal of a bank or credit company except for the Internet and settlement is safely performed by attaching a file thereof. |
