PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for quickly and readily conducting immunoassay on a protein, a pathogen, a cell and the like, and to provide a device using this method. SOLUTION: Using a holding means for holding antigen and antibody derived from a biological body, a mixing means mixing the antigen and the antibody together into reaction, a flow passage for electrophoresis of the antigen, a flow passage means for connecting the holding means, mixing means, and the electrophoresis means to each other, a base board carrying the holding means, the mixing means, the electrophoresis means, and a means for moving the antigen/antibody existing in the flow passage means on the surface, a lid holding a substrate which includes a liquid on the base board, a control means for controlling operation of the moving means, the mixing means and the electrophoresis means, and a means arranged in the base board or on the outside of the base board for outputting information related to the antigen electrophoresis velocity inside the base board, this immunoassay device detects a reaction of the antigen with the antibody. In this device, immunoassay is carried out, by obtaining information about the electrophoresis velocity of the antigen, after the antigen to be measured is mixed with the antibody. |
