PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable start of an engine by incorporating a charger and a sealed battery in separate cases, enabling connection and disconnection of the charger to and from the battery, carrying the case containing the battery and connecting the engine to the battery or a cell motor of a vehicle or the like. SOLUTION: The sealed battery is contained in the case 10. The charger for charging the battery is contained in the case 9. The case 9 has a means for enabling a connection of the charger contained in the case 9 directly to an external power source or via another member. The case 10 has a means 16 for enabling a connection of the battery containing a power output cord to an input terminal of the battery or the cell motor for the vehicle. The case 9 and the case 10 have means 11 and 15 for enabling connection and disconnection of the contained charger to and from the battery. Thus, the case 10 is separated from the case 9 and can be carried.
