PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device, capable of securing appropriate traveling state of a motor vehicle. SOLUTION: When route guidance is operating, a guidance information setting part 20 specifies a first intersection which one's own motor vehicle is passing and a second intersection which one's own motor vehicle will pass afterward and at which one's own motor vehicle turns to the right or to the left. Then the guidance information setting part 20 sets a travel route, in which the number of changes of one's own motor vehicle in traffic lanes up to the second intersection becomes minimum as a recommended travel route and outputs the information on the recommended travel route as guidance information to an intersection guidance part 18. The intersection guidance part 18 creates and displays the image drawing data of the intersection guidance information, in which a recommended travel traffic lane, which is set by the guidance information setting part 20 as the intersection guidance information on the first intersection, is emphasized and displayed on the screen of a display device 7 via an image compositing part 22. |
