PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus where a noise level caused by the increase of the total number of fans and filters is reduced and various problems caused by the reduction of the total number of respective fans are drastically improved while reducing the increase of a manufacturing cost to the minimum, and also, where the compatibility with the compact apparatus body is attained with a very simple constitution. SOLUTION: As for the image forming apparatus provided with a drum unit equipped with at least an image carrier for carrying a developer image and a cleaner for cleaning the image carrier, a fixing device for fixing the developer image to a recording medium, an air sending means for making the air passing between the inside and outside of the device, an air duct which communicates with the air sending means, and a guiding member for guiding the air to the air duct, and the guide member is constituted so that one surface of the guiding member may function as an air guide for guiding the air to the air duct, and also, the other surface may function as a recording medium carriage control guide. |
