PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deposit a flattening film just as a prescribed pattern. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is provided with a pair of transparent substrates disposed opposite to each other through a liquid crystal and one substrate is fixed to the other substrate by using a sealing agent which has concurrently a function for sealing the liquid crystal. The flattening film is deposited in a region in which the sealing agent is formed of at least one substrate of the two transparent substrates and a light shielding film is deposited on a lower layer of at least one part of the region in which the flattened film is deposited. |
