PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of dislocation and inclination or the like of a wiring device even when a general purpose device frame having a long hole is used without manufacturing a device frame exclusive only for exposed box having no long fitting hole. SOLUTION: In a wiring box including a box 10, formed facing to the aperture on the front surface, having a pair of upper and lower bosses 14 allowing loading and unloading of a screw 16 provided through long hole 11 for fitting a device frame F of a wiring device A and being installed in the exposed condition to the outside of wall of the building wall W, a projected portion for engagement (engaging portion) 17 is formed in the aperture side of front surface for installation without any displacement of the device frame F against the box body 10 by positioning, through engagement with the device frame F, to restrict such a positional displacement for the box 10 due to the long hole 11 for fitting device frame F. |
