<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust from gathering in a gap, by arranging a cable such that it is not subjected to thermal influence and that the cable contacts with the inside wall of the pipe not to produce a gap, when the user heats a supporting metal fitting and fusing and fixing it, in a cable supporting metal fitting which supports a cable such as an optical fiber for communication, fused and fixed to a pipe such as a sewer or the like consisting of thermoplastic resin pipe and is passed within the pipe. SOLUTION: For a supporting metal fitting 11, a pair of claws 12 standing in axial direction of a pipe are projected on the top, and also an inlet 13 which opens downward is made at the bottom of a curved retainer 14, and in heated condition, a pair of claws 12 are pushed in and fused and fixed into a pipe 15. The pushing is performed to such a degree that the cable 4 to be engaged and supported by the retainer 14 contact the inside wall of the tube. After fixing, the cable 4 passed inside the pipe is pushed in from the inlet 13, and is engaged with and supported by the retainer 14.</p> |
