PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is impossible to deal with highly accurate position calculating operation by enlarging a spatial quantization error, increasing a random error concerning pixels, which cannot be removed by grouping, around an image and further generating the influence of image position shift caused by a change in a relative relation between a signal quantity and a threshold level since the pixels of levels lower than a threshold are cut by operating a centroid while using only the pixels exceeding the threshold after binary processing and grouping the image level by means of the threshold in a conventional centroid calculating method. SOLUTION: In order to solve the problem, this centroid calculating system adopts a function for changing the threshold corresponding to the quantity of light in the image and a function for the centroid by means of subtracted pixel data by subtracting the levels lower than the threshold so that both bias and random errors can be reduced. |
