PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unevenness in electrification and deterioration in electrifying function even when an untransferred toner image remains on a photoreceptor due to the occurrence of malfunction such as mainly jamming of recording material. SOLUTION: In the apparatus, the toner image on the photoreceptor 1 is transferred to a transfer belt 71 when jamming is discriminated by a recording material detection sensor 75 and a control device 80 and this is eliminated by a transfer belt cleaner 92. |
