PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bluescreening processor and its processing method that can generate optimum key signals to the foreground colors at the same time. SOLUTION: The bluescreening processor is provided with a key generating section 49 that compares each center of the foreground colors and the center of the background color and compares the range of the background color and the range of the foreground colors respectively to generate key signals and with a key synthesis section 31 that synthesizes a received original image signal 24 and an optional new background color image signal 25 by using the key signals outputted from the key generating section 49 for coefficients to provide the output of a synthesized image signal 26. When a plurality of the foreground colors exists, respectively and independently normalizing each distance from a background color to each foreground color in a color space can obtain values of the key signals to generate optimum key signals to a plurality of the foreground color.
