COLOR FILTER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter easily and precisely formed with pixel parts and a method of manufacturing the color filter by utilizing difference in wettability. SOLUTION: The color filter is characterized by having a transparent substrate, a lyophilic part arranged on the transparent substrate with a specified pattern having a contact angle with a liquid smaller than that of the transparent substrate and the pixel parts arranged by coating the lyophilic part with plural colors with an inkjet method.
