PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print server device and a print serving method capable of reliably completing printing in a printer system. SOLUTION: Printout data from a client are temporarily stored in a printout data storing part 22. An output destination deciding means 23 decides a printer capable of printing out the printout data by referring to printing information stored in a printer information storing part 21, and the printout data are transmitted to the decided printer to be printed out. In the case a failure takes place during the time when the decided printer prints out the data, a printer monitoring part 25 notifies the part 23 of this purport to redecide a printer capable of printing out the data again. Further even in the case a failure takes place in the redecided printer, it is possible to print out the data by continuously changing printers until finding a printer capable of printing out the data because the printer capable of printing out the data is decided again.
