PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease a diffusion resistance of each gas flowing toward each electrode in each electrochemical cell, and also to control deterioration of material for connecting parts of the electrochemical cells next to each other in an electrochemical device which has a structure consisted of plural electrochemical cells connected electrically to each other. SOLUTION: The electrochemical device 5 is equipped with a solid electrolyte layer 9, and with a plurality of first electrodes 16 and a plurality of second electrodes 17 both installed at the solid electrolyte layer 9. A plurality of electrochemical cells 15 are composed of the first electrodes 16 and the second electrodes 17. It is also equipped with at least one through hole electric conductor 22 that penetrates the solid electrolyte layer. At least two electrochemical cells 15, which are next to each other on the solid electrolyte layer, are electrically connected via the through hole electric conductor 22. |
