The invention concerns a device for opening blown plastic bottles that are hermetically closed by a dome (5) and mounted in holding means in a duct (7) by cutting the dome (5) using a cutting knife (32) mounted in a cutting head (1) that can move relative to said dome along the periphery thereof.
