A power supply unit (8, B1, B2,...,Bn) uses a battery or accumulator. A micro-controller (7) is used for determining a number of the batteries contained in the power supply unit for activation of at least one optional function or programming function of a transmitter. In practice, the programming function may be initiated by opening the battery compartment and removing at least one of the batteries. |
