METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MODELLING A MECHATRONIC SYSTEM IN A MOTOR VEHICLE

The invention relates to a method and a device for modelling a mechatronic system in a motor vehicle according to an object-based architecture, whereby said system is represented in the unified modelling language. The elements of the CARTRONIC® which comprise components and sleeves as the classes thereof or objects and orders (with feedback), inquiries (with hints) and requests as the communications relations thereof are provided by means of examples and together with the essential rules of the entire catalogue of rules. A representation rule for said modelling elements is provided in UML constructs.
