<p>The ice skating blade is fitted into the mounting rail of the in-line roller skates using bolts. It is designed to replace the usual set of rollers. The bolts pass through fastening holes in the blade. The fastening holes may be open towards the top edge of the blade (1) for ease in fitting and removal.</p>
