Method and arrangement for the analogue-to-digital conversion of an image signal

The method involves at least two analogue-to-digital converters (11,12) which are clocked with a mutual phase shift and whose output signals are combined to form a digital signal. The analogue signal is separately subjected to automatic gain control and to clamping to a predefined amplitude value prior to digitisation. Anti-aliasing filtering can be performed on the signals fed to the analogue-to-digital converters.
