The invention relates to a juice centrifuge, comprising a rotating drum (5), a rasping plate (17) that rotates with said drum (5), a sieve basket (7) insertable in said drum (5), and a collection chamber (10) for the pressed juice. The inventive juice centrifuge allows to specifically direct the pressed juice to the collection chamber by providing on the sieve basket (7) a discharge device (9) that overlaps the upper drum edge (8) of the drum (5).
