This invention relates to a bin (1) for use in the recycling of waste or disposable materials and, in particular, to a bin which has means to enable the magnetic nature of material to be determined. The bin/can bank is designed to collect material for recycling purposes. It has a clean, easy serviceability and it comes with an internal spill tray (4) to prevent leakage. The top (5) of the receptacle has a bag loading system with the bag secured by a collar (21), which in the case of the aluminium can bank is magnetic to indicate steel from aluminium cans. The body (2) of the bin can be printed in full colour screen printing. It comes in flat form and can easily be assembled. The bin is emptied by separation from the spill tray base. |
