PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold water producer having a structure taking out cold alkaline water in a sanitary state and preventing cold water in a tank from being discharged after the completion of a taking out work. SOLUTION: This cold water producer is provided with an electrolytic cell 25, a cold water tank 19, a cooler 21, a cold water takeout button, a water discharge path 33 for taking out an acidic water from the alkaline water and the acidic water produced by the electrolytic cell 25 from cold water in the cold water tank 19, and a stop valve 35 provided in the water discharge path 33. The stop valve 35 is opened at a takeout time of the cold alkaline water by an operation of the cold water takeout button and is stopped at a stop time of a takeout operation by the cold water takeout button.
