PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge cap which can prevent the outer cover from being opened in filling at a high temperature and also can prevent shower water from being sucked by reducing the external power necessary for opening an outer cover and absorbing fluctuation in container mouth size. SOLUTION: This hinge cap connects integrally using a hinge 2 an outer cover 5 and a middle cover 3 as a main body. By providing an annular recessed groove 39 which opens at the end face along the bottom end of the cover 5 when the cover is closed, a flexible ring 40 is formed at the bottom end of the cover 5 existing closer to the center than the groove. The inside peripheral face of the ring 40 touches elastically an annular protrusive strip 41 formed on the outer peripheral side of the main body 3.
