PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the durability, lighten the weight and lower the cost of guide rollers for conveying metallic material. SOLUTION: The objective guide rollers comprises tetragonal zirconia ceramic or a composite ceramic including tetragonal zirconia ceramic. The guide roller has characteristically an average surface roughness of <=0.2 μm and/or the maximum surface roughness of >=0.8 μm. |
