PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for automatically purifying a nucleic acid, capable of automating the separation and purification of the nucleic acid, and capable of separating and purifying a large amount of the nucleic acid in a short time from a lot of samples. SOLUTION: This apparatus can operate and control solution-feeding parts for feeding various kinds of nucleic acid-containing solutions and reagent solutions, passages 21 for sending the various kinds of the solutions stored in the solution-feeding parts, each controlling valve for controlling the selection and sending of each of the various kinds of the solutions, syringes 23 for sucking or discharging a constant amount of the various kinds of the solutions, dividedly injecting needles 26 each connected to the syringe through the passages, a moving means for moving the dividedly injecting needles 26 or multiwell plates upward and downward and rightward and leftward, a vacuum block 41 for vacuum-filtering the solutions on the multiwell plates, a multiwell plate rack for moving the many multiwell plates mounted thereon in the upper and lower direction, and many multiwell plate blocks 40 on which the multiwell plates sent through the multiwell plate rack may be mounted.
