PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space-saving cooling device by which along foam can be cooled without unfavorable coiling creases. SOLUTION: In the cooling apparatus to cool the long foam B which is continuously extruded from an extruder, the cooling apparatus A for long foam is provided with a pair of right and left guides 1, 2, in which guide rollers 13, 23 are arranged at specified intervals, in the circumferential direction between ring-shaped frames 11, 12, 21, 22 are arranged at a specified interval. The long foam B is cooled while transferring along the guide rollers 13, 23 by hanging over it so as to form a figure of 8 alternately between the guide rollers 13, 23 of the pair of right and left guides 1, 2. Hence, the long foam is hung over to form the figure of 8 between the guide rollers 13, 23 of the guides and cooled while being bent alternately in succession. In this way, the cooling apparatus A can smoothly and surely cool the long foam B without deforming it. |
