PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To industrially and stably cast a sound thin strip having good quality and uniform thickness by solving such troubles that pits, holes or the thin strip cut-off are generated accidentally when the rapidly solidified thin strip such as an amorphous alloy thin strip is produced by a single roll method. SOLUTION: As for a multiple-slit nozzle, thickness of two lips formed at the breadth wise both sides of the slit aperture is made 0.1-3 mm. Also as for the multiple-slit nozzle, thickness of two lips formed at both sides in the array direction of the inclined apertures is made 0.1-3 mm. Thus, the industrial use value of the rapidly solidified thin strip, such as the amorphous alloy thin strip, is remarkably increased.
