PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a judging method for preventing the deterioration of a quality of a cast slab beforehand. SOLUTION: This judging method for fluidity of molten steel supplied into a mold in a continuous casting judges that the quality of the cast slab (10) is abnormal in the case that a clogging index (B/A) obtained from a theoretical aperture area (A) of a sliding nozzle under assumption of no clogging occurrence in the sliding nozzle (2) and the actual aperture area (B) of the sliding nozzle (2) with clogging occurrence in the actual casting state becomes a prescribed value or more.
