PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for the height adjuster of a seat belt device connectable to a vehicle pillar and replaceable through a simple method of assembly or disassembly. SOLUTION: In the device for the height adjuster of the seat belt device, the belt height adjuster is disposed within the pillar of the vehicle and a deforming element is disposed between the locking rail of the belt device and the pillar. The deforming element 4 is disposed within a container 3, which can be fixed by a screwing means 9 into a notch or recess in the pillar wall 10 of the vehicle body pillar 2 and which is disposed in front of the deforming element 4, together with the locking rail 6 to which a support plate 5 is connected. The support plate is held within the container 3.
