PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a degree of parallel processing of drawing instructions in an image forming device having a plurality of image drawing means which can be operated in parallel. SOLUTION: In an image processor to draw images in parallel in compliance with a plurality of drawing instructions by a plurality of image drawing means 106, whether overlap exists in drawing areas by a plurality of different drawing instructions is judged by an overlap judging means 103. When the overlap exists and the following drawing instruction represents an overwrite processing, data about each drawing instruction and non-drawing area are transmitted to each image drawing means 106 after deciding the overlap part in the preceding drawing instruction as the non-drawing area, and each image drawing means 106 is enabled to perform drawing processings in parallel.
