PURPOSE: A method for constructing a water gate of an upper end pressure controlling automatic weir is provided to always maintain water level within a prescribed range by automatically sensing and controlling the water level if a flow amount of water is too much. CONSTITUTION: A method for constructing a water gate of an upper end pressure controlling automatic weir includes the steps of filling the inside of a body(1) of a water gate with helium gas and coupling cylinder rod hinge shafts projecting from both sides of an upper end of the water gate with cylinder rods(7), coupling a rear portion of the cylinder with a cylinder fixing rod with a hinge, and coupling the cylinder fixing rod with a rear portion of the cylinder. The cylinder fixing rod is coupled with a hinge shaft of the water gate.
